Celebrating Our 2,000th ED Request

Impact Story: Empowering Children Facing Conflict
After completing an ED with NGOsource last February, War Child UK was able to explore a wide range of funding opportunities to continue its work supporting children whose lives have been uprooted by conflict. Read more.
We've Enhanced Our Process for ED Renewals
NGOsource is now in its fourth year of operation, and renewing equivalency determinations (EDs) to extend their validity period has become a large part of our work. In September, NGOsource enhanced our process for renewing EDs. Instead of sending out renewal documents manually by email, we created an online questionnaire that facilitates renewals. We are also translating the online questionnaire for ED renewals into all five languages we support and engaging our global partners to support NGOs through the renewal process. These changes will allow both NGOs and our legal team to conduct renewals faster and easier than ever before. For more information, please contact NGOsource by email at accountsupport@ngosource.org or by phone at 855-NGO-SRCE.
NGOsource Attends Exponent Philanthropy National Conference
NGOsource recently attended the Exponent Philanthropy Conference in Chicago. The NGOsource exhibition at the conference showcased the benefits NGOsource provides to small foundations with little to no staff. Learn more about NGOsource and Exponent Philanthropy's partnership designed to support small foundations.

NGOsource is a project of the Council on Foundations and TechSoup.

TechSoup's mission is to build a dynamic bridge that enables civil society organizations and social change agents around the world to gain effective access to the resources they need to design and implement solutions for a more equitable planet.

The Council on Foundations, formed in 1949, is a nonprofit membership association of grantmaking foundations and corporations. Members of the Council include more than 1,700 independent, operating, community, public, and company-sponsored foundations and corporate-giving programs in the United States and abroad. The Council's mission is to provide the opportunity, leadership, and tools needed by philanthropic organizations to expand, enhance, and sustain their ability to advance the common good.
