NGOsource Update
NGOsource and Corporate Philanthropy
We are excited that corporate foundations and corporate philanthropy programs are increasingly joining NGOsource, a joint project of TechSoup and the Council on Foundations, to support their international grantmaking. This month, we are highlighting the services that NGOsource and TechSoup offer corporate foundations — and the impact that their international giving can have on communities. Read more on our blog.

Wishing you the best,

Impact Story: Medtronic and The Community Foundation for Ireland
Doctors and children posing with one million euro sign
Last year, global technology leader Medtronic launched the Medtronic Healthy Communities Fund, providing €1 million to fund health-focused charities, in partnership with The Community Foundation for Ireland and the Ireland Funds. Learn how they leveraged an equivalency determination (ED) from NGOsource to accomplish this.

NGO Survey Results

NGOsource recently conducted a survey of the NGOs for which we completed EDs in the last two years. Through this survey, we received helpful feedback from 150 NGOs in 40 countries. We are excited to share our key findings with the NGOsource community — read about it on our blog.

Welcome to Our Newest Members!
A person helping another person climb a hill
Increasing NGOsource membership leads to a larger repository of completed equivalency determinations (EDs). Our members benefit from each other's completed EDs. When grantmakers request an ED that's already completed, we can reissue it to another member in one day for $250. We all share EDs under the NGOsource model.

A CLEAR NEED

"We are very happy and it is so motivating in our work [to receive the ED]. We shall use the status to ensure we make a meaningful impact on the vulnerable children and their families in the community."
