IRS guidance updates, #GivingTuesday gratitude, and more!  |  Browser  |  Contact
A Note from Kevin

As the leaves begin to change and the weather turns cold, this can only mean that Giving Tuesday is about to arrive. On the last Tuesday of this month, institutional and everyday philanthropists will open their wallets and their hearts and give in record numbers. We will stand up as a nation, say that we support causes that move us, for change that we want to help catalyze.

You, our readers, inspire me similarly, but far more than seasonally. This time of year now reminds me of you — that grantmaking inches us closer every day toward the more just and equitable world that we demonstrate we want on Giving Tuesday. So, this Thanksgiving, we would like to express our thanks to you, our members, the very personification of change.

NGOsource would also like to give thanks and express our warmest regards to our own Sheila Warren, who has left TechSoup to explore the power and potency of blockchain technology in civil society. Sheila continues on as an advisor to NGOsource, but we will miss seeing her every day.

Wishing you the best this season on behalf of NGOsource's team!

— Kevin Ryan, Director of Operations
