Halfway through our fourth year of operation, NGOsource continues to improve on fulfilling our mission: to make equivalency determination (ED) easier for both grantmakers and NGOs.

Some of the highlights from the past six months:
  • Over 220 grantmaker members currently use NGOsource for their EDs. The list includes 15 of the largest 20 international grantmakers, leading donor advised funds, smaller family foundations, and major corporate funders.
  • Grantmakers have requested EDS for NGOs in 120 different countries. July marked our 3,000th ED request, and we are well on our way to reaching 4,000, with an average of approximately 130 ED requests per month.
  • March marked the launch of our LegalEASE column, a monthly blog from our legal experts that spotlights compliance and international law issues relevant to the grantmaking world.
  • We published our first e-book, the NGOsource Guide to Equivalency Determination, to provide both grantmakers and NGOs key insights into the equivalency determination process.
NGOsource is proud to partner with you to build a better world through international philanthropy. We look forward to continuing to work with you to provide NGOs with the support they need to change the world.

All the best,
The NGOsource Team
